Safe Harbor
Home Modifications
& Assistive Technologies, INC.

For those not familiar with the disease, it afflicts the neuro-muscular system and adversely impacts the ability to safely walk. That is not good in a home featuring two sets of steep stairs and a sunken living room with a 10 inch step-up/down!

My two younger brothers and I finally accepted the fact that she would never leave her home and resigned ourselves to the task of having the house lightly modified with grab bars, transitional ramps, two stair lifts an
d several monitoring technologies.

In discussing all of this with friends and relatives, I soon discovered many had their own “stories” of mom or dad or a disabled loved one. I detected a common chord of frustration--- an apparent absence of any fully comprehensive, single-source responsible service to remedy making the home safe, secure and well-maintained for the loved one. From that, Safe Harbor Home Modifications & Assistive Technologies was launched.

At Safe Harbor Home Modifications & Assistive Technologies, Inc. we are committed to keeping your elderly or disabled family-members living safely in their own homes.

With the help of our trustworthy team, you can rest assured that your loved ones will be comfortably living at home for years to come, instead of in a nursing home or retirement community.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with you and your family.

Oftentimes it is said, that an issue or event really never resonates until it affects you personally. That was my case, as I witnessed the continued health demise of my own mother.

My mother, 82 years old--- proud, independent and stubborn as the day is long--- refused to even consider moving from her home of 45 years, even with the onset of Neuropathy.
